I still didn't received any invite for interview and my application still on "Under Consideration" – since 11/29/2022. I applied for ICU New Grad (5SCCT – Surgical/Trauma ICU); not sure what is happening with their new grad program this Winter 2023. The time frame seem off if compare from last year.

Hi everyone! Just want to see if anyone had any updates for the application; I am applying for ICU New Grad RN one, but my application is still "under consideration." I have looked into last year's Winter 2022 cohort and around this time, the interview would be out already.

I think they reached the number of applicants they aimed to, and it has closed already. Hi there! I got admitted in Fall 2019! Some of my classmates are living FAR, such as in Long Beach or Granada Hills, and they are doing GREAT in classes! I don't know how to answer the question about quality because I did not know how I can compare this school to other schools. Every school has its strengths and weakness, but truly, I believe nursing school is something that you have to pace yourself to go where you want to be. One thing that I love about the program and this LACC School because LACC Foundation is sponsored us a FREE Uniform, Jacket and Books. It surely saves a lot of money for all of us! But, if you will considering the traffic for how flexible you will able to attend classes it is OK too! But, remember also, when you will be in the Clinical Rotation at Hospital, each hospital will not be nearly by the school. GOOD LUCK! ?

I got an email and wasn’t selected but I’m going to Nursing School at my home school LACC! Yayyyyyyy ? CONGRATS to everyone who got in! ?

I got accepted to LACC which application system same as LBCC. Most of Community Colleges are LOTTERY system, I guess. (Follow the Chancellor’s Validation Study Criteria - Cut score at 80% or above for LACCD) I don't mind sharing ? My prerequisite for science is 2.94 (which I know that LBCC only selects 10 applicants out of all application from my science GPA range), my overall GPA is 3.57 I want to encourage everyone who got a low GPA of science like mine, keep pushing and doing what needs to be done. Do your best; keep going. Pray to God every night to be got selected. I applied more than 5 schools (all community colleges = lottery system), recently got 1 accepted and 2 denied. Real thing start on the first step of the Nursing School! Go get your dream ?

Thank you so much! I think they are still in the process of calling the students who got selected from the lottery now. But then, some student may accept the spot and some is not. They said about confirming the spot before May 10. I think everyone still has a chance. Last semester, I called them when I heard that they started calling the students who got selected. That was how I found out; I didn't get into the program last semester. You can ask that you got selected or be in the alternative list or not also. Best luck to all of you ?

I got the phone call from school, too! I accepted my SPOT because LACC is my home school. This is my 2nd time applied. Pray GOD every night! Yessss! Don’t give up all ?✨

Hi! I will be applying for UCLA's MECN for Fall 2020 too! (If I didn't get accepted to ADN first). I think it is better for us to go to the "Information Session" to have all clear information.
