Hello All, I plan on becoming stroke certified by the end of the year. I was wondering, what is a realistic timeframe to study and successfully pass the exam? What were your strategies? I plan on studying for about 6-8 weeks. Any advice would help ❤️ thank you.

I just accepted a job at John Hopkins. Looking forward to moving from California to Baltimore in September. Does John Hopkins have a set program date of when the new grad program starts? I wonder if I'll be starting later than my cohort.

Congrats!! I know how you feel! I have to make a pretty tough decision between staying in LA and going to UCLA or relocating to Baltimore. I’m going to the student day in Baltimore in March. Maybe attend both schools to get a feel for the environment and city.

Where can I find my UNID?

I work with a nurse who was number 12 on the waiting list and she got in. You have a great chance.

Ah!!!!! I got my acceptance letter!!!! I've never been to Baltimore before. I can't wait to visit.

I’ve had several conversations with people admitted into the program and from what I’ve gathered the most important of the application is the statement of purpose. I’m sure you’re an excellent scholar and you have experience over the years that brought you to UCLA‘S MECN program. Spend time reflecting and writing your SOP so that it reflects your wonderful qualities and passion about nursing. ?

That’s the deadline for letter of recommendations and to submit grades from the fall quarter.

Hey Hey! Before their webpage went down their website had September as the month the applications would open. November was the deadline. The webpage was working the other day. I’m pretty sure they’re updating it. Check back in a few days. ?
