Looking for a traveling friend for Mid August!

Hi:)

I'm a single 28 yr old female who's looking to travel first to CA. I sent in my CA license app over 6 weeks ago (I know CA-BOA is known for not being speedy)

I would like to start mid August if all goes well. This will be my first travel nursing adventure and I would love to have a traveling nurse friend to share that experience with. My family is basically petitioning me to stay in New England and they are definitely not thrilled that I want to go literally across the country. But this is something that I have wanted to do for many years.

I don't smoke and unfortunately I'm really allergic to animals so that would definitely be out for me. I love to explore and see new places. I love playing sports (I hope I can get my bike to CA along with all of my other athletic gear, but if not thats okay to). I also love to travel and I'm crossing my fingers that I can get an assignment close to the ocean so I can work on my surfing and tan! PM me is any of this sounds interesting.

Any advice on the traveling companies would be greatly appreciated and important questions to ask.

I've heard that Titan Medical is a good traveling nurse company. They paid for my friend's travel expenses.

I am 28/f also looking at traveling to Cali...probabaly not until about mid september however. I have my license already...its good you started early, because mine took about 3 months to come through! I have done two travel assignements, and am currently with Titan Medical, the company the commenter above mentioned. They have been great to work with so far, and so pay some travel expenses...however I am learning to negotiate negotiate negotiate! :) PM me if you'd like to chat more!
