Hi 2 all of my friends:)
I am a nurse with BSc Degree in Nursing:grad: from India.I do have the experience of CCU & PICU total of 4 years.:) Right now,I am on J2 visa living in Philadelphia. I will be getting my RN license no. from Penn State Board of Nursing very soon. So now I am looking forward to get some job to start my initial experience in the field of Nursing in the United States of America. Can anybody please tell me which hospitals or nursing homes or area of speciality I should target to enter into the job. I am very curious to work as nurse as I always loved this profession:nurse:
Your Suggestions are highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot

Can you work on a J2 visa?
Be aware many US nurses are already struggling to find jobs so having no US experience may hinder you

While you're waiting you may want to brush up on your English skills. Not only is verbal communication important, but also written documentation. Good Luck in your search.
I am already working on this.

Hi Shubh, I am planning to come to the US on J2 and my husband on J1. I am just completing my BSc nuring in India. Can you help me to understand the process to get certificed in the US as an RN? my email is [email protected]
Starting point would be the state Board of Nursing and meeting their requirements for licensure which may include CGFNS CES report and passing NCLEX. Not sure when you are arriving in the US but look at approx 4-6 months to go through the process and get eligibility to sit NCLEX.

i think she's been doing good on her english written skills
Hi, do you think I can start the process for CGFNS CES report while I am here in India? or do i need to be there in the US to start the process? Thank you every one for your support.
Hi Aquina,
You can start your CES report process from India, But before that make sure from the State Board of nursing, which CES Report ( two types) is applicable to you.
Good luck!!:)
