I don't know too much about oil rig nursing I'm afraid, but I was able to find a few resources that may help. I know you may have already seen these, but posting just in case!
This is in Canada, but it seems to have a good amount of general info: Platform Nurse/Medic - Oil and Gas Career Info
This one is in the USA and may be more helpful: Offshore Oil Rig Nursing Careers | Chron.com

Dear Nurse Beth,
Oil companies retain nurses on their off shore rigs, in the Gulf of Mexico for example. I'm trying to find the companies which hire such nurses and what the qualifications are. Can you provide some guidance?
Thank you.
Hi there,
Thanks for your very unique question! Off shore oil rig nursing- now there's an adventure for you!
You will need ED experience, and you must be able to work autonomously.
Typically there is no doctor on an offshore rig, so you will be making medical decisions.
An oil rig nurse will be on call at all times, even after your shift is over.
I would talk with my nursing insurance company before accepting such a position, and make sure you have adequate insurance coverage.
Best wishes, and be safe, friend! (I emailed you a couple of links with more specific hiring information) I don't really know how many jobs exist.
