Looking for hospitals that staff with 8 hour evening shifts

I am just wondering whose hospitals have the option ofstraight 8 hour evening shifts, and also what floor or unit? This is my favorite shift to work, and it is getting really hard to come by.

When I worked Recovery, they had 2 people who worked that shift. Other than that you really don't see it much anymore. Maybe ER?

On my med/surg unit, we all work 8 hour shifts. Some rabble-rousers (LOL) are trying to get some 12's, but I LOVE my 8's on evenings!

that is my shift you are speaking of! :) i do pms and 1 wkend a month. a few days thrown in there cuz i am having to do some day stuff off the floor, but thats no biggie. are you trying to find somewhere to move or why did you ask?

Hi, I am in philly, I know that nazareth hospital offers 8 hour shifts. I went to the job fair last month. I spoke to the nurse manager on the tele floor. Good Luck
