Looking for friends along the application process

Hi guys,

My name is Brian, I am new to allnurses and i'm excited to be here. I'm really motivated about starting my nursing school journey(next year). I am in my last year of prereqs. I'm taking A&P1 and Micro now and it's really challenging. I will be applying to two or three ADN programs. This thread is to find other people that will be taking TEAS and finishing up prereqs this year. What classes are you guys taking??

@Nurse2b Micro and AP together is not as bad as i thought it would be. Especially when you do the cell chapter...it directly correlates with Micro.

Hi Brian!

I'm just kicking off my pre-nursing school classes. I have not been back to school in over 8 years so I'm pretty much starting from scratch like many others. Currently I'm taking Eng 101, Psych 101, and Math 092 (Algebra). Next semester I want to take Anat&Physio I and Gen. Chem. That would complete all my pre-req's and I can apply to take the NLN PAX exam for nursing school in my community college (doing the ASN program) in September and if accepted I will start Spring of 2013. Here's to hoping :)

I dont think Patho is a requirement for my school. I know Chemistry was a Pre-req for A&P or anything Science related. Im taking Chemistry now and I like it so far.
