Looking For Remote Positions

Hello-

I am looking for positions that allow me to work from home. I have 10 years of experience ranging from ICU, ER, Nurse Case Manager and Pediatrics. I left my job from working 5 yrs. at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. The reason be is due to my mom's health has declined and I need to be in town where we live (daily drive to CMH was 140 miles round trip). Working from home is ideal and it could be a contract, temporary or part/full-time position. I have applied to positions that have been posted on Indeed, Zip Recruiter, Monster and LinkedIn the last month. So far, I've had no responses besides "Thank for applying. Your application was not selected."

Any knowing companies that hire nurses giving them that chance to work at home?

Thanks!

Insurance companies hire but I don’t know name. Telehealth is a big thing now with covid19. Wellness/ health coach, CDE certified diabetic educator, telephone triage for clinics or urgent care or insurance companies. Good luck

Are you still looking? I just got hired on with a company, I haven’t started yet and I’m a little nervous because it will be a lot of hours in addition to my full time job + call until I can get on board with them full time and get benefits. If you don’t have to worry about benefits, this would probably be ideal. PM me if you want info!

Hiring is very slow or frozen right now for many to most industries due to Covid-19. Keep trying and applying. I know that BCBS and UnitedHealthcare both offer remote positions, but I believe its pretty hard to land one. Good luck and I hope your Mom is doing better.

Hi

it’s been a while since you started the remote job..do you like it? I would be interested in learning more...I would  love to work remote. I don’t need benefits.
