Hi, I just found this forum and it seems like a lot of helpful information! I am a Registerd Nurse in the states and have a background as a intensivist medical doctor from another country with over 15 years experience. I have my RN since 2005. I am almost 50 and wanted to get my ARNP license. I did not want to pursue a residency all over again to persue my medical license here so I decided to get my RN. Now, I am looking to get my ARNP online. I am looking for the shortest/ reasonable priced program. If anyone could suggest a school that they have had a great experience and would like to share information with me please let me know. I live in FLorida. Thanks for all your responses!

WGU does not offer a track for advanced practice MSN. Their only two foci are Leadership/Management and Education.

Frontier Nursing University offers an RN-MSN/DNP in FNP. They are online, with the exception of a few on-campus visits to Kentucky, ranging from 4 to 8 days.
