I've tested once since my contract went into effect and it's been three weeks since I've had to screen. This can't be normal.

Longest 4 weeks. Shortest 2 days. You just never know!

I had three weeks between my first and second time, at the beginning of my contract. After that it was almost always every other week. There were a few exceptions where I had to test a week after the previous time, and once when it was two days in a row, but other than that for two years it was pretty much set to every other week. When I hit the third year, I waited six weeks between testing (woohoo!) once and was thrilled that my third year looked like it was going to be less often. Then the next two tests went back to every other week
Also, I am always tested after a holiday regardless of how that fits in with my "every other week" schedule. Like Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas and New Years. I'll be chosen to test either the first or second day after those holidays. And other TPAPN people I know say that happens with them too, regarding the holidays. Even Mother's and Father's Day.

The longest i went was 6 weeks. i was beginning to wonder if they'd forgotten me. Yeah...no. They made up for that one realllll quick. Got me 4 times within a 9 day period. One of those was that stupid $80 2 part whatever that takes 3 weeks to come back.
Mostly mine is every other week.
Urban legend is that it lessens when you get to years 4 and 5 but to my knowledge no one has been able to actually prove that.
Urban Legend. Made me laugh!

I had to do the drug & alcohol pee yesterday but before that it was about 6 weeks. Honest to God. I got paranoid and actually called my case manager to see if anything was wrong on Monday. I check in everyday but remain ever paranoid about this program. I had a pretty bad bout of the flu a little over a month ago that caused me to miss a couple days of work. I knew I just needed some OTC decongestants after it resolved but was afraid to take any and it turned into a miserable case of sinusitis and infected ears. I finally went to the docs and sent the scripts to my case manager but it stunk.
I'm not sure which BON god decided this but part of our penance for having committed whichever sin we committed, if indeed it was even a sin, besides doing an eternal pee pee dance to avoid a potential dilute until you are sure you do not have to donate on a particular day is also, in spite of being a medical professional and knowing precisely what the simple remedy is, is to suffer for all eternity the miserable sequelae of the common cold and it's medusa like cousins of sinusitis, bacterial infections, pneumonia, bronchitis and that never ending hacking, rattling cough that makes people think you are spreading either TB or bubonic plague. All this over a couple of Sudafed. I apologize for the run on sentence. Punctuation requires more coffee than I've yet had this morning.
Amen cats!!!

Some states test a lot more than others. I was in Kansas and I really was only tested 1 or 2 times a month, except for one episode where I had to test 4x in 1.5 weeks. I think I once went two months without testing once but then got hit with back to back tests.

Mine was a month. One person I knew had it three times in one week. My contract says 24 a year and I've done 22 this year so far. Part of me wonders if they will test me more than 24 times this year because we still have about 65 days left this year.

Has anyone ever had diarrhea or the only way u can pee is to push and you push out more than you expected? Happens to me all the time due to nerves of not being able to go. Sooo embarrassing! Today I had diarrhea (been sick all weekend) and I had the "Pee Nazi"... "are you almost done? It's been 3 minutes, I hear extra movement in there". Here lady , come get my pee while I finish cleaning up in here.. í ½í¹„.. just hold your breath. í ¾í´¢
