Hi everyone. So I took the NCLEX this past Monday and passed it. I couldn't be anymore relieved after seeing the words "pass" on the pearson vue website. My question is how long does it take for the Connecticut BON to post my RN license on the state's eLicensing website? The reason I ask is because my manager said that it was fine to start precepting as long as I had proof that I passed the NCLEX considering it was just a waiting game for the BON to officially list my license on the website. I called HR today and they told me they've been solely looking for my license number to pop up and after I told them I passed the NCLEX and have the results to fax over, they didn't really care too much for the results and were more interested in the license number. I start work next Monday and I'm worried the license won't be posted in time.

If you look under the CT section for nurses you'll see my post asking the same thing. Here's the link --> https://allnurses.com/connecticut-nursing/wait-time-bon-837830.html
It took 5 days from when I got my quick results for my license number to show up on the CT license verification website.
Some of my friends had gotten their quick results and their number was up a day or two later.
I had called the BON to inquire the approx time it takes for them to issue license numbers and I was told it could take up to 10 business days. She had asked my name and told me to hang on.
The lady at the BON (very nice by the way) had told me that if a potential employeer needed verification of my passing the exam and that a licnese was being issued, they could call the BON and they would verifiy that yes, I had passed and yes, a license would be issued to me. Coinsidently, my name showed up on the website that day :)
You could call the State BON and explain your situation (but they won't be open until Monday) and see if there is anything they can do to verify your license number will be issued. I would suggest doing this because your quick results showed up on Wednesday and that is when the State would have gotten the info at the earliest.
