how long did the 1st step of Suzannes study guide take?

Hey all,

I just wanted to check to see how long it took everyone to finish suzanne's first step of her new study guide. It seems like its going to take me forever so I was just wondering like how I should break up my time to do this. The book is so thick and there's so much i don't remember. :uhoh3: Any help will do. Thanx

Are you finding that you're not doing well on the questions at the end of each chapter?

The guide states if you don't do well on a chapter to read that chapter, you will find yourself completing that book in the time she allotted for. For me it took 6-8weeks, 5-6wks for the first step and the remaining for step 2, but I did questions every day for that time, depending on how well I did in the chapters, sometimes 3 chapters a day if not more

With me,i just started last week and up to now i'm still at chapter 11.I think it wud take time b4 you cud finish the whole buk most especially if u have to go over the chapter.The best thing to do is dont sched ur exam yet.

The book is superb although it's thick,it's worth reading.

I'm not familiar with her plan, but I think I saw one post from Suzanne on here, and she said that if you know the material pretty well, it should only take you a few days to complete the tip. However if you don't know the material well it could take a while. Good luck!

It does take some time especially if you have a family and a life outside of NCLEX. I took the boards three times before I discovered Suzannes program. The book part took about 4 weeks doing some every day then I did 6 weks straight of the 100 questions a day. On my fourth attempt for boards I passed!

It's a total of approximate 6-8wks and well worth it, that time will fly by

Yes, I'm finding that I"m having difficulty passing these quizzes. So far I've taken 4 quizzes and I"ve ended up reading all those chapters b/c I didnt' pass with a 75%.
