Just wondering how long everyone's commute to work is.
Awesome!!!22 Days till final finals.
Actually, it gets even better. Since I work hospice/home health, and live in a crowded city, it is pretty much required that we use our bikes to go from client to client. I average 90 minutes bike time per shift, which sure helps keep me in shape.
Also, my company has a "bicycle plan", which gives us a good bike at a cheap monthly payment, including insurance on it.
I haven't driven a car in several years, and don't miss it at all--that post about spending $400 a month on gas to get to work really shocked me!!!
Good luck on your finals.
I beat you ALL!!! Took me over 2 1/2 hours to get to work the other day. People in California can't drive in the rain... It usually takes 1-2 hours.
Hahahahahahaha This is soooo true! :chuckle: Every time it rains it makes the news. Before I moved down here the rain didn't really bother me but now I'm scared to drive in it! I don't even want DH to drive in it. Honey don't go out. Can't you see that it's raining?!? LOL

My current clinical site is about 35 minutes from my house, but I'm applying at a hospital right now that is less than 1/2 mile from my house. I can walk there in less than 15 minutes, and they start new grads at a higher pay rate than the hospitals that are further away from me. Wish me luck!
