Hi all! Just submitted my application for Long Beach City College's ADN Program and wanted to open up a thread for us to connect regarding our applications & the acceptance process. Applications closed today and we should hear back in 6-8 weeks, October 3 at the latest.

It sucks, but you never know! For the Fall 2024 cohort, Marc mentioned they picked 9 out of I believe 20 alternates to replace.

that's why when somebody said they will get 40 and 20 alternates, I was very skeptical but hopeful. well, I will just wait for my other 10 schools to make a decision

Yes Dec. 6! Does this mean we got in? Also can we start doing our background check online? I seen it on their webpage. I already took TEAS and submitted it to the school!

It says Im an alternate and that I have to attend. I haven't checked the background stuff and I was told we'd take them once we're accepted.

Hey everyone did they change the date for the meeting for everyone? Or just the alternates ?

I got an email after the TEAS exam this week confirming the December 6th meeting.

What date did they have you attend? Someone mentioned that they were getting many more alternates this semester because most of the alternates have been getting in over the past year or so. So maybe the room couldn't fit everyone.

I was emailed saying they changed the alternate meeting to the 13th. I haven't gotten anything since that change. Were you an alternate as well?
