Long Beach City College (LBCC) ADN - Spring 2025

Hi all! Just submitted my application for Long Beach City College's ADN Program and wanted to open up a thread for us to connect regarding our applications & the acceptance process. Applications closed today and we should hear back in 6-8 weeks, October 3 at the latest.

No, I was just curious. I got an email after the TEAS this past week though to confirm the 12/6 meeting. And another one a few days prior about signing up for the BLS certification.

We had some people not show up to out required meeting today.

Thanks for that info. Was that a mandatory meeting that by not going means they are no longer in the program?

Yes, the meetings are mandatory. We have an alternate meeting on the 13th hopefully it's good news for the alternates.

Yes, it was mandatory & if you didn't show you gave up your spot. 
I shared because I know alternates are waiting for a spot & not trying to get anyones hopes up but I would totally love to know this info if I was an alternate.

Just saw on LeapApparel that they make name tags. Any of y'all bought those or just stuck with the ones from the trophy store?

I was told to buy it from the trophy store. Also, trophy store was only $8. Not sure what the price is on Leap

I also bought from the trophy store. $12 on LeapApparel. Just curious cause they might look nicer LOL

I looked at it and it definitely is nicer. But, I think the tag is supposed to be red on purpose to identify us as 1st year and IDK if the one from leap would be red or white as shown.

I got my name tag from the trophy store on Lakewood and Willow only because it was mentioned that second year students had the black badge, and first year students had the red badge.

Has anyone received their order of scrubs yet? I ordered mine before the deadline and still haven't received anything.
