Long Beach City College (LBCC) ADN - Spring 2025

Published

Hi all! Just submitted my application for Long Beach City College's ADN Program and wanted to open up a thread for us to connect regarding our applications & the acceptance process. Applications closed today and we should hear back in 6-8 weeks, October 3 at the latest.

@Will_B.N._RN I believe they choose 40 students and 20 alternates

Marc said 36 students

from 3 different levels of GPA

10 : 2.5-3.0

10: 3.0-3.5

16; 3.5-4

😭 I think it's safe to say we will get notice by Monday September 30th! 😅

I hope so 💔

Curious...are these science GPAs or overall?

Once the applications are processed the selection committee will get a list of eligible candidates and their overall and science GPA data.  They then randomly select from the following science GPA groups:

2.5-3.0 we select 10 students

3.0-3.5 we select 10 students

3.5-4.0 we select 16 students

that was the message he sent me

I agree 💯 BUT I have good feeling about receiving some good news soon so we all have to remain positive that we're getting that email soon! 😁

let's just face facts.. we're not finding out till the 30th 😭

Just passed by Marc's office. He's not in, lights off. I guess it appears we won't be hearing back today for sure.

Yeah we more than likely won't hear anything til Monday 🤦🏽‍♀️

Got an email. I wasn't chosen 😭 good luck everyone!
