Hello everyone!
I am creating this forum so we can all stay updated during the application process. Good luck to everyone applying this semester! ?

You should’ve received a denial email on 08/23, that’s when my 2 other friends received theirs. Then on 09/02 I received the email stating I was 1 of the 300 selected to move to the second phase. Have you tried checking your spam folder, just incase? I would also email them or try calling since you didn’t receive anything from them.

Thanks. I checked spam folder, no email. I just emailed them, so hopefully I get a response. If you are accepted or rejected, does LBCC web portal say anything about the status? It seems the portal does not support that.
Has anyone taken the TEAS exam? I got selected as an Alternate for LBCC ADN program and I know that will be a next step since I got their email yesterday. Feeling very nervous to take it and would like to see if anyone had some studying tips to prepare for the TEAS. Thank you in advance! ?

I took it last November and got an 85%! I highly recommend getting the official TEAS book and supplementing it with online practice problems! The math is a lot more straight forward than it seems. The test uses the exact same formulas except different numbers, so just find and practice those formulas. Off the top of my head science you should focus on enzymes, circulatory system, basics of all systems. The official study guide has A LOT of chapters but they’re all digestible 2-3 pages. Not sure when the test is due by but if you can give yourself 3 weeks to really study, you’ll probably do just fine. Youtube videos are kinda helpful, depends where you look. This test is decent in the sense that it’s not trying to trick you, simply wants to know that you know your stuff. Good luck!
I got an email that said we need to take it within 365 days of 11/9, and I took mine 11/5/20. Emailed Marc because I REALLY don’t want to take it again *sigh*

I got that email yesterday as well! You did great on the TEAS, hope they just accept that transcript. I know usually if you fail that’s when you need to take remediation or something like that I read on their site. Thank you for the tips though, I am going to start studying now and hope they let me take the test by JAN 2022 so I have enough time.

Reaching out to the provisionally admitted! Has anyone received an email yet about submitting paperwork to Databank? Do you think they’re going to wait till after the holidays? Don’t want to miss a thing.
happy holidays,
Rachel
Hey! The last emails I received were prior to our provisionally accepted orientation. I have a feeling that we won’t get any until everyone takes the TEAS test. Did you ever get an answer back on whether you have to retake the TEAS?

Heyy, Okay glad I'm not the only one! I'm ready to upload my stuff already haha. I did get a response from Marc, he said my TEAS results would be just fine. Thank goodness. Excited to meet everyone in person!

You would've gotten an email about not being selected for the second phase if that was the case. I would suggest maybe calling or emailing someone from the nursing department!
