  1. Congratulations! What an amazing opportunity! Miller Children's is a great hospital to start at as a new grad. I believe the pay comes out to over 50 with night differential included. If you have any questions, lmk! I did my clinicals at LBMMC and Miller Children's. Did you write a tailored cover letter to the unit or make a general cover letter?
  2. That's what I was thinking too, but I'm choosing to remain hopeful. No status change to my application (still under review since 11/18) and I've been checking my inbox and spam all week.
  3. Has anyone heard back from 5E, 6E, 6W, BMT, CTICU, Heart Cross Train, or Float Pool? I have yet to see anyone mention that they have received a call from those units anytime this week (or even a rejection email/application status change). I think the other units have called at least one person (if not all). Not sure how long offers will be going out. They only confirmed that offers will START December 9th (if we go based on the timeline mentioned in the info session).
  4. Hello Everyone! Reminding you all that tomorrow, January 17th, is the last day to order your clinical uniforms in order to get them in time ??.
  5. I bought mine the night before he sent the email. I only had until 2/25/2022 to use the test. I emailed him yesterday about whether we would use it by then; he said we needed our drug screening later than that. I hadn't used it yet, so I emailed Complio and got a refund for it ??‍♀️. Hopefully, it will work out for you!
  6. Thank you so much! I saw my schedule a few hours ago; it’s finally hitting me that we’re really nursing students now ?.
  7. There are a few things that can be signed in the student handbook, but I haven't seen anything specifically for HIPAA ?. Also, does anyone know if I can purchase all of the packages on Complio and not turn in the documents yet? I have one thing left to do tomorrow and then I'll have eveything to upload ??.
  8. Hello! I know of two people who graduated from the program. The most recent graduate (Spring 2020) loved the ADN program! The only "negative" thing she spoke of was the need to be sure of yourself and that you will be stressed.
  9. Hey! The last emails I received were prior to our provisionally accepted orientation. I have a feeling that we won’t get any until everyone takes the TEAS test. Did you ever get an answer back on whether you have to retake the TEAS?
  10. I have to retake the TEAS since the last time I’ve taken it was in August 2019 ?. It’s not a hard test at all. The English portion is usually what messes people up the most, so definitely study for that.
  11. You would've gotten an email about not being selected for the second phase if that was the case. I would suggest maybe calling or emailing someone from the nursing department!
  12. I got provisionally accepted as well!
  13. Hi! I want to apply to the traditional BSN program for Spring 2020, but I don't think I'll get in. I have taken Anatomy 3 times and Microbiology 2 times. My science GPA is a 3.44 (A's in Anatomy and Micro, but B's in Physio and Chem) and my Prereq GE is 3.59. I am retaking my TEAS August 19th. Is it even worth applying? I am bummed about this.
