2015 Lonestar spring hopefuls.

Published

Hi there everyone. I'm one of the 2015 hopefuls for lonestar. Just wondering if anyone has any information on application datelines for 2015 spring. The school sites don't happen to have that info(unless, I am missing something). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

Hi guys, i just saw this thread and wanted to join. I also just turned in my application with a score of 11.38 with Cy-Fair as my first choice. I turned in the application today and was the 10th person to apply so far. I'm worried that my score won't be high enough but I guess we'll just have to wait and see! Is anyone planning on taking pharmacology before the program starts? I've heard it's helpful to take it beforehand, but i wasn't sure. Good luck to everyone!

Well, you guys are already better off than I am. I have an 11.1932. I wonder how many Cy- Fair admits? That would be a good piece of info.

I wanted to take pharmacology in the fall but they were all full so I signed up for pathophysiology instead which if I get in at Lonestar, counts towards the degree and takes off my load.

Hey guys! I just found this thread. I just dropped off my application at Kingwood, which starts the long wait. I'm really nervous and anxious and I'm praying I get in, as well as all of you guys. I applied with a score of 11.6. I'll be taking online Pharmacology for Health Professionals this Fall before the program starts.

Hi James!

I don't think you have anything to worry about with a score of 11.6. You should be fine!!

I hope I'll be fine too! I just want to know already, I don't want to wait for two months

11.6! Dude you got in! I'm still rocking my 11.25 but i'm still hoping ill get an A in A&P2 that i'm taking right now during summer session 2. so then i can enter with a 11.65, but the the nursing dept told me 11.25 is a good number as 11.2 was their cutoff last semester.

Dawno I believe they take 100-120 applicants and are divided up into day and night classes, but don't quote me because its been awhile since i attended the cy fair seminar, i know kingwood has morning and night schedules

Just called Cy Fair and was told that they admit 50 students.

Fingers crossed! All you have to do is make that A and you'll be guaranteed a spot.

dawno, you never know it you'll get in or not, it depends on the pool of applicants that year. But I'm sure your score will get you in!

yeah after posting my comment i went down and talked to Kingwood nursing liaison and she said there is only 80 spots at the Kingwood campus and when you get accepted then you request whether you want morning or night

Hey everyone! I'm dropping off my application in a couple of days and I have a score of 11.54... stupid reading section messed me up on the HESI because it was sooooo boring! Eek! I'm applying to Kingwood, as Cyfair is way too far from my house. Good luck to everyone, I'm going to die if I don't get accepted because I'm putting all my eggs in one basket and it's the only program I'm applying to.. Fingers crossed!!

Hello All, I am also a Spring hopeful! I just dropped off my documents at Kingwood. My score ended up at 11.493 and hoping that this year I get in. I was an alternate last year. Hope to meet y'all soon!
