@mrki.... hey congrats!!! We will be goin to kingwood together...yayyyy....im not sure but i think the clinicals are 12 hours? Same for weekdays

Congrats to you both, I will be joining you at Kingwood also. The clinicals are usually from 6:30am - 4:30pm. I know a couple of people in the nursing program and that is what it was for them. I am sure we will find out all kinds of nerve wrecking things at the orientation. I am going to the October 31 orientation. Hope to see you there!:):):):):)

that is super fantastic!!!! you were an alternate at cy-fair and your score was 11.462, correct? i will see you at orientation!! i am still an alternate at cy-fair, and i am hopeful they will call me too. i have talked with some of the adns that will be graduating in dec., they had several alternates in the program so i am looking forward to that call. i have completed everything they have requested and even received my blue card already, plus bought that health insurance.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to thank all of you for your support and kind words during the whole application process. I was really upset that Cy-Fair wouldn't accept my micro class from UTA and that prevented me from being accepted to LSC, but today I got accepted to my dream school, UTHSC. I start on Jan. 9th.

yes, correct. I was not expecting for the call anymore but it did come. I hope you will get that call too.

By the way, how long did it take for you to receive the blue card from the day of fingerprinting? I will have mine (fingerprinting) on the 8th so I am crossing my fingers. I am not sure if 2 weeks is enough time to get the blue card.

It shouldn't take anymore than a week for you to receive your blue card from the day you do the fingerprinting. I received mine on 11/04/2011.

Congrats to katybusymom for getting into your dream school. Also to those who are no longer alternates! I got my blue card 2 weeks after fingerprinting. How does everyone feel about the new scrubs?I bougit my stethascope...its pink :) keep your heads up alternates!!

beth, where did you find the information about the new scrubs and the steth? i feel so clueless about so many things.
