lonestar nursing 2014 hopeful

U.S.A. Texas

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

How is everyone?! Getting nervous/excited? I see on the Lone Star site that they send letters out in September, but the cutoff is now September 16 (recently changed). I wonder if letters really will go out that soon. Anyone have other scores to add?

This month is going by so slow!!!

When I turned in my application the lady was rude but she told me letters will go out beginning of October around the 10th

I turned my application in on sept 10th. I was told that I should hear something 4 to 6 weeks after the deadline, but it will be through our lonestar email. So, I am thinking it won't take that long..........

Note: this is what I was told for the Kingwood campus.:whistling:

Last years applicants received theirs the end of September.. Since the application deadline has been extended for a week we will most likely find out first week of October. Just a guess though. So anxious!

Me too! I think I will be stalking my email everyday now! Lol:yes:

I'm kind of surprised they do notifications through email! I'm so anxious!! Hope the rest of this month will fly by! Oh, and btw, I heard there was 80 being accepted at Kingwood... Has anyone heard differently?

No. I think that is accurate, but I think 40 for the day and 40 for the evening.

I applied to Tomball LVN program as a backup plan. Well, I have been selected an alternate spot as of yesterday (Sept. 18th). I must accept and have my drug screening done by Sept. 27th. I wonder if that means we should start hearing from the RN basic track programs (Cy-fair/ Kingwood). So nervous about being accepted as my score is kind of low :( , but I still have high hopes!!!

FINGERS crossed! Good LUCK everyone!!!

:) anxiously waiting!!!

Do Lvn acceptance letters normally go out that early?!
