Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

HI EVERYBODY! I am in the Kingwood ADN program and I will be starting my second semester in August! For the A and P part of the Hesi, I suggest looking at your A&P book!!! I studied the Hesi Assessment admission study guide, and I used my A&P book as a reference for EVERYTHING that the study guide talked about (hopefully this makes sense). That helped me out a lot!!! Feel free to ask me anything! GOOD LUCK!!!

I looked at Khan Academy videos and read over my A&P book in preparation for the A&P portion of the HESI and was able to pass it that way. Good luck and feel free to ask me any questions if Ivan help.

Thanks ikegrad2002 I have seen you in so many previous posts. I hope it will be good enough because other years I have heard of the cutoff being 11.6... I applied to Cy-fair for first choice and Kingwood second

@ dreksterr what were you rank scores. @ ikegrad2002 how is it at kingwood. Can you use iPads. What kind of watches can you use? What are the hours and days for the first semester. I will be taking the hesi aug. 30th, and applying to kingwood as my first choice.

I have two Bs, and one A. I have b's in a&p & psyc and a on eng . Right now I have a 7.33. I really need to try to focus on studying, with 3kids , 3pets and a husband(LOL) i can get over loaded with daily chores. How do you study and where do you study?

Hi guys!! Well I am planning on applying in to the program next week. I just got done taking my HESI this morning and I did not do any better than the first time I took it. My composite score was 78 and feeling a little discouraged about applying. I have all A's in Eng.1302, A&P and Psych. I found this thread hoping to see what this years application process looks like.
