lonestar nursing 2014 hopeful

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Intent to enroll is due on the 11th. I agree, I wish there was an earlier orientation to clear up questions!

I agree!! You got accepted at kingwood as well?

I was accepted as an alternate at both Kingwood and Cyfair. :/ I still have high hopes.

Physicals are fine as long as they are less than a year old......

Heck yes I am lol. I live in Kingwood so I would prefer to go there; however, I am use to driving an hour and 15 mins to Beaumont to go to school at Lamar SO driving to Cyfair a couple times a week is okay with me! I wont pass up an opportunity to get into the program because it's so competitive. I even applied for the LVN program and was denied with a 6.8something so I am surprised that I was accepted as an alternate for the ADN program. Which one did you get accepted to?

I hope I get in too. My score was a 10.82. If this were any other application time I probably wouldnt even be on the alternate list so there's obviously a reason. I should for sure get in next time since im retaking my psych (B isnt good enough *mind blown* LOL)!!! My goodness I'm a CNA but its expired ajd I have an associates in arts in sciences. Everything happens for a reason so we shall see! :)
