Lonestar nursing applicants for spring 2016

Published

Hi guys! I will be applying for lonestar cyfair and a few others in the spring of 2016. I was wondering if anyone had started studying for the hesi and also what grades have they gotten so far in their classes!

Can someone accept both school

what do you mean?

Ok xduan, I email cyfair department waiting on an answer.

Cool. What is your situation ? When is your last shot scheduled? I am thinking taking an accelerated all over again regardless my previous two shots. I can't think another way...I am lost

I was accepted as an alternate as well. I'm only selecting Kingwood as I need the evening classes. My score was 7.02.

It means can you choose to be an alternate for cy-fair or kingwood

Do both campuses have evening classes available?

No only Kingwood.

I'm hoping to apply for spring 2017, maybe sooner. Still trying to figure all this out! My first choice is Kingwood, but I looked at the BON and they have a warning... If I go there (since its closest to me) and they get put on conditional status will the program be shut down? Does this mean al the work would have been for nothing? Congrats to all you ladies getting accepted into the various programs!! I hope to be in your shoes soon!!!

Does anyone know how many alternates there are? I feel like I don't stand a chance with my score. I wish there was a way to know what number in line we are on the alternate list.

Xduan, The last shot is in January! I might try the titer and if not I don't have immunity I will get the accelerated shots.

Thank you for sharing. I talked to the department today, they said this year they asking all the accepted students have their titers ready, just showing u are completed the shots aren't enough. So we have to have the titers ready before the Dec. 1st. I don't know what I am going to do, but keep positive and try.

the prerequisites for most Programs are the same so you should be fine just don't put all your eggs in one basket. research other programs close to you and apply to more than one if you can! have a back up plan. just stay on top of everything you should be fine.
