Lonestar 2015 fall hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!

Are we supposed to register for our own classes? I thought they were going to do that for us? I am anxious to know about books and uniforms í*½í¸

They will register you for classes. You won't get book list until orientation. Put about $900 up to buy the 18 books you will need.

Our orientation was canceled though. We only have a day of bootcamp a few days before school starts

Wow! Seriously? They gave us two different ones. We didn't have a boot camp. Maybe that's when you will get it. But, that sucks if it's only a few days before school starts. Maybe they will only make you get the ones you need to start with. The list of 18 books weren't all needed in the beginning.

Oh! My god!! What if we cannot find some books? it's crazy to get the list of all what is needed (knowing the quantity) only few days before class!!!

Im nervous. I need to know the schedule also because I work and have to figure things out. Plus I need to know how much money all of this is going to cost. This is making me very anxious.

I'm in this same boat i was going to put my youngest in Mother's Day out but if I have afternoon classes then I need to look for an alternative!! Has anyone talked to the director at cy fair?

I haven't spoken to anyone. I'm wondering if we should email them and see what their response is

Hi all,

I have a question about the hepB titers; mine only said reactive and explained that reactive meant consistent with immunity, greater than 9.9mIU/nL. It got rejected by the certified profile site. Do yours have exact numerical values? If yes please tell me what exactly said? Cause my doctor wants to know what they want exactly in it. Thank you and have great day.

The certified profile people want an actual value next to the titers themselves. It sounds like your were qualitative, but they want quantitative. For example, Hep b could be a number like >42.1. That is what they are looking for. Also, next to the number they need the reference range for that specific titer, so that they know you are immune.

Yep, mine had a specific number and then at the bottom of the sheet showed the range for immunity and if was less than a certain number not immune....

thank you guys.

Got accepted at NH!:) What do i have to have done now? The acceptance email didn't explain much as to what classes we are supposed to take and what books to get or anything. Alternate orientation didn't really help with that information either...

Thanks in advance!
