Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!

I agree everyone stay positive I watched a lot of friends start last semester at kingwood, if you are an alternate I heard quite a few were being accepted a few weeks after and if you end up not being accepted do not let this get you down! It's hard but it will be so worth it when you get the email one day everyone keep your heads up!!

I asked about the emails that they send out. You can only be accepted to one school on your list. If you are not accepted to any school they send out either an alternate letter or a denial. You will not get a denial for each school it will be for all schools. Same with alternate. If you didn't get anything yet then they are still considering you for one of the schools that have not sent out acceptance letters yet.

Montgomery as my 1st choice followed by Tomball

I was told 30 transition students per campus per application period but I don't know how accurate that statement was.

My first choice was Kingwood followed by Montgomery then North Harris but their separate application periods means KW won't send out acceptance notification until after the other campuses start. Also the 8 point system threw out almost all the courses I had A's in for the GPA calculation which lowered my score substantially. Even if you go with the "just add 4" method for converting between point systems, my 8 point score is non-competitive. -_-

Long story short, my preferred campus is Montgomery then NH then Kingwood. I live in the Huntsville area; if I get in I'll be the person sleeping during breaks because my drive is going to suck.

Also, I'm greatly amused by how we all have Montgomery for our first choice.

I picked montgomery as my first choice because 1) it is the closest to my house and 2) they had the highest pass rate last year out of all the lonestar colleges according to BON.
