Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!

Well, while I'm waiting I'm going to go get a tetorifice shot and some blood titers done... Fun fun fun

Your primary doctor should be able to and I a will cover if not I know many rediclinics offer then for a set price per titer

I'm doing it at the heb redi clinic on sawdust and 45. The varicella zoster titer is 59... Hep B is the same price ... I did that one back when I applied (couldn't find my shot record) I also had varicella zoster as a child so I have to do the titer to show immunity. The MMR titer is 90. I am debating on whether to do this or not. I have my shot record for this but some clinical sites require titers. So maybe I should just get it over with

Also the tetorifice or if you decide to go with TDap... Which I will do since I have children ... That will be covered by my insurance so I don't know the price

I got TDAP and flu shots in September when I was 36 weeks pregnant, so I think I should be ok if I get proof of immunization.

Last year the fall class got their emails 10 days after the application was due :/ I'm getting antsy lol

Jbau89.... Flu shot is every year..tetorifice is every ten... You have to finish your Hep B or show proof you finished, proof of MMR, and varicella zoster.

I went to Express Family Clinic in Spring for my titers. They were $25 each so I paid $125 for all 5 titers. They also do physicals for $30/$35. They are probably the cheapest place you will find.
