Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.
I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?
Hey guys, so if I get accepted to cyfair I was wondering if I rented a house in Spring, is that a far drive? They have some decent looking houses in Spring for a lot cheaper than the cypress area. Im also looking in Katy as well.
Traffic will be a nightmare. Try looking in the Copperfield/Bear Creek area.
Well my last name starts with a 'W' so I still can't figure out how they sent them out. The letter was semi thick because there is the actual letter which is 2 pages and included is 2 forms we need to sign and send back. Also some info on the TOEFL Exam which is only necessary if you went to high school outside of the US, its a proof of English proficiency.
I hope everyone else gets theirs soon, I can't believe I was the first to post on here with one!
Thanks for all the Congrats.

Thanks for the advice, I will look on craigslist for that area. I visit Houston a lot but I get so overwhelmed when it comes to finding a good area to live thats not going to be to far with traffic. So any information will be helpful!

I bet you could find some houses for rent in the Copperfield area or anything with "Copper" in the name. That is close to the school. That area is around Highway 6 and West Road.
franksl-- I'm also moving to Houston for the first time! Have you been on HAR.com? Scroll down and go to "residential lease" at the bottom and you can look up all the homes available for rent. I would also suggest contacting a Realtor. I checked craigslist once or twice but never found anything. I didn't find Katy or Spring to be significantly cheaper (but I could be wrong). Maybe it's because I'm from Chicago but I find EVERY part of Texas to be ludicrously inexpensive!!
