Lone Star Spring 2021 ADN

Published

After a long setback (and a little family tragedy) I am ready to apply for Spring 2021. Since there's only two campuses that have Spring entry, is it prudent to apply to both? What I need to do is retake the HESI and wrap up this "A" in A&P 1. Admittedly, my first HESI was prior to taking the actual class (my overall was 89.6%) and I expect to fare better after taking A&P.

Ang. how much clinical time have you gotten during the whole program?

It’s over 100 hours that we have to complete each semester. Not sure of the total. We stopped going Mid March in level 3 but of course KW supplemented with excessive case studies ? we have yet to hear anything right now on whether we’ll be going to clinical (which I doubt we will) so we’ll likely be group chatting with our instructors, doing more case studies and virtual simulations as our “clinical” time.

Here's hoping you get back into the swing of things.

With our deadline for the HESI on Friday I am shocked that there's not more turnout online for applicants.

Me too. It’s possible that people aren’t a posting online I guess

Yes ?‍♀️

Hi randomly jumping on because I saw this link on fb! I applied to kingwood with a 7.44 overall for Spring 2021. I just retook my HESI and scored a 93 so if I’m not accepted this sem then I will be applying with that for next Fall.

Did you submit your application With your original HESI score before retaking HESI???

Hi! New to the group but applied to Kingwood Spring ADN with a 7.76. Just terrified there is some component I missed...I’ve waited over a year to apply and no Spring chicken ?
