Hey everyone... who all is applying for next fall? Have you taken your HESI yet? What is your score going in? I still have to take my HESI but have an A in A/P 1 and am taking A/P 2 and Microbiology this fall. Also how did you study for the HESI??

Hi! has anyone from North Harris received their Idnetogo email? I still haven’t received mine and I tried to contact them but can’t seem to get through…

I have like a week ago maybe you should ask the school about it just to. make sure they know you have not received it so they could allow you more time to submit the blue card. Have you received the clinical location survey?

Does anyone know if proctoru makes you show your area and your scratch paper? I heard sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.  Wanna make sure I am doing it all correctly.

When I used the service last year, a live person introduced themself on the screen, explained the process, and then asked me to rotate the camera on my monitor to check out my little space. In general, they request that you don’t have books or papers in your area, and that the desk space is relatively empty. I flashed my empty scratch paper and my ID at the camera, and that was about it. Ideally, you don’t want to glance around or wander in the room during an exam, because it’ll flag your test and they have to go back and review the entire video, so your results are like snail mail. My HESI exam had a box in the corner where I could supposedly chat with the proctor (if I had to go to the bathroom or the screen froze), but he never responded. It was all good, though. Also, they never asked to see my scratch paper after my test was finished. Pretty straight forward.

GOOD LUCK! Slay on!

Hopefully someone on here can clarify something for me.  I am double checking the application guidelines and I came across a section that says you have to have a C or above in every class you have taken.  Is this just for pre reqs?

Yes. To get in really just look at the points. What really matters is English 1 (I believe) and A&P 1 or 2, and your HESI. Aim for As in english and A&P 1 or 2 for better chance of getting accepted

So I don’t have to worry about any other past classes besides English and bio?

The other classes should be a C or better but to get in to the program for the point calculation its just those two classes
