Well, there's no guarantee y'all will have to do it in other programs; some teachers are really against the idea.

At least it's just a bed bath...the majority of your body is covered up by a towel most of the time. We shall survive!.

How was you class? I have heard that at Tomball they too do the bathing suit thing. It could have changed from last year, guess I will find out next week.

At Tomball, if we have lab, we have to be in uniform, shoes, patches, the whole nine yards. You could email your director and ask about if that is a requirement. Good luck everyone!

Stacirn For the one week summer class uniforms are not required but we can wear them if we want I e-mailed Mr. Raymond and she said it's usually about half where uniform half don't but the ID badge is required, I'm not wearing mine haven't got them yet.

It's good! Just one more day and we're finished. Taking it and another class has been absolutely exhausting - after 8 hours of class and 2 hours of homework, the last thing I want to do is do three MORE hours of schoolwork, but it's almost over :)

I dish t wear a bathing suit...just shorts and a tank top. It wasn't bad.

Y'all have to wear your uniform in lab, too? We have to wear scrubs but not the actual uniform. I guess it saves money if you don't have to go out and buy other scrubs though. I've spent a pretty penny already! Most expensive pajamas ever.

Yes, we have to wear our uniform if we are scheduled for lab. It is their way of making sure we have the proper attire. I just picked my uniforms up from the cleaners today and I received my shoes from FedEx just today. I am ready for our class that begins on Monday! It isn't 1172 it is 1105. I am not sure what the difference is but we are not scheduled to take 1172, it is not offered at Tomball....

Is everyone enrolling full time at 12 credit hours or only their nursing courses?

The guy doing my financial aid stuff told me since the program requires less than 12 hours to be full time, we're still eligible for full time financial aid without taking superfluous credit hours. Our professor seriously discourages us from taking anything other than nursing courses, so I'll be happy about that if my financial aid is approved!

But, like everything with these places...sometimes they tell you one thing and someone else tells you another, so we'll see.

Wow, they're going to make sure it comes down to the wire! After I emailed the guy back telling him the letter was for the committee and asked him if it was the right place to send it, I got no response. But MyLoneStar has a popup now asking me to verify my FAFSA info so I'm hoping that's some sort of sign the process is moving forward!

Hi everyone I haven't been on here in a long time. Tomorrow is the first day of class for me! I didn't know we had to wear our uniforms to this class but I have read differently. :/ I haven't even bought them yet! Guess I better go shopping in the morning.
