Lone Star College 2021 LVN-RN Transition

Updated:   Published

Hello,

I've recently applied to Lone Star College transition program for T, NH, & M with a score of 7.504. Last year I was placed on the alternate list with a score of 6.9. I'm hoping this time I will get accepted. Has anyone applied yet? If so what is your score and the locations you applied to?

That happened to me last year as well. I believe I had a 6.8 or something like that. I tried to retake English for an A but I got a B. My score is a 7.2. I ranked my schools Tomball, North Harris, and Montgomery. Praying I get in.

I retook A&P and got an A so that helped my score. I think 7.2 is a good score but I've heard Tomball and Montgomery are really competitive. My friend made a 6.9 and got in NH but that was back in 2019. I hope you get in too. Application closed on the 9th so hopefully we hear something before the month ends.

Yes! I’m thinking at least by the end of the month, or first week of May. I had a friend that was able to get into Montgomery with a 7.2, so we shall see. I graduated LVN 2019 from Tomball.

I’m so nervous I have a 6.9 I think I chose NH first, I’m still retaking AP1 to try to get an A, so If I don’t get accepted I’ll apply for Kingwood(they say it’s really competitive for Kingwood)

Hey guys! I'm applying to the transition program at the Kingwood campus. I'm finishing up my pharmacology class next month so if I get an A, I'll be applying with a 7.52! I keep hearing Kingwood is really competitive so hopefully my score is good enough! And good luck to everyone!

I graduated in 2018 from CyFair. Hopefully we get in this time.

My friend got in with a 6.9 at NH in 2019. Another friend had a 7.3 and got into kingwood in 2019. I hear kingwood is really competitive too. If you don't get in at NH then try to score higher on the HESI and apply at kingwood.

My friend got into kingwood with a 7.3 back in 2019 but I think 7.5 should be good enough. Good luck!

I talked to my friend today, and she actually had a 7.14 and was accepted into Montgomery in June 2020

OMG you guys are giving me so much hope!! I have a 7.412 and applied to the Tomball, Montgomery, north Harris transition program but I REALLY want to go to kingwood cuz it’s close to me and it starts in august. Does anyone know what the lowest score that kingwood accepted last year??
