Hey everyone I was starting a thread for all the fall 16 hopefuls for all the campus's at lonestar!
I take my hesi feb 18 and nervous doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!!!! Lol, I think I'll be okay on the math portion, it's the grammar and a&p that are causing my sleepless nights!!! Predicates, me or I, prepositional adjectives? Whaaat?? Lol and then a&p because there's soooo much and you have noooo clue what to focus on. I'm a bundle of nerves to say the very least lol
How about yall?!
My first choice is going to be kingwood, then maybe cyfair or north harris, I haven't decided yet, I want to get this test out of the way first!!
And can ya'll believe hcc closed their program down this year..... I was upset about that that was my first pick!
Hi everyone! I'm a little late to the post but I wanted to meet all my fellow future nurses! And to also stress out with you guys while we wait for our letters! I applied with a 7.68 to Montgomery as my first choice and North Harris as my second.
Good luck to everyone!!
(also I heard that it takes about 3 weeks till they start sending out letters)

Hello Khelsea!!
That is a really great score. I'm sure you won't have any issues with getting accepted.
I hope the waiting period isn't too long though. That would be tortuous.
I got an email from the Program Coordinator at Cy-Fair. She said notification letters would be sent out in April or May for the LVN program. May?! I feel a bout of extreme anxiety kicking in. LOL!
I can only imagine how long it's going to take for notification letters to be sent out for the ADN program.
You are absolutely right. A friend of mine got into NH last fall with a score of 6.8 but with HCC not accepting applications this year that range may change significantly.
That makes me feel a lot better! Thank you so much for sharing this information.
I was thinking the same thing about HCC. A coworker of mine told me that HCC only requires a certain amount of courses to be accepted into their program; Lone Star requires more. I'm really hoping that there isn't a major fluctuation in applicants.
