Hey everyone I was starting a thread for all the fall 16 hopefuls for all the campus's at lonestar!
I take my hesi feb 18 and nervous doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!!!! Lol, I think I'll be okay on the math portion, it's the grammar and a&p that are causing my sleepless nights!!! Predicates, me or I, prepositional adjectives? Whaaat?? Lol and then a&p because there's soooo much and you have noooo clue what to focus on. I'm a bundle of nerves to say the very least lol

My first choice is going to be kingwood, then maybe cyfair or north harris, I haven't decided yet, I want to get this test out of the way first!!
And can ya'll believe hcc closed their program down this year..... I was upset about that that was my first pick!
I just spoke with Catherine Gray (Nursing Director) at Tomball. She sounded like I was probably the millionth person to call and ask about notifications lol. She said as soon as the sort list was done for all 5 campuses, they would start sending letters. She said she didn't expect that to be for at least another week. :-(
Hi you guys!! I'm new to the thread. I applied to the ADN programs at North Harris, Montgomery, CyFair, and Tomball with a 6.89 í ½í¸• And the LVN program at Kingwood with a 7.32 So hopefully I get in at least one of those. So I'm doing the waiting game as well í ½í¸¥í ½í¸
Yeah this waiting period is excruciating. I actually called the North Harris Advisor today and she told me the same thing Catherine did. The campuses have no control over the selection process; system office handles that. She also said there was an increase in applicants for Basic Track, due to HCC not accepting students right now.
I think we're going to have to prepare ourselves for the end of April before we receive letters. I'll be praying for patience for everyone!!
I was accepted to LVN CyFair as well. It says we must submit the intent to enroll by next Tuesday so hopefully ADN letters are out by then. if not today....buttttt today would be nice.

Hmm so what happened if we accept to enroll on the LVN. Do we automatically forfeit the consideration for ADN? I'm really nervous now.... I see we have a similar score
I'm not exactly sure but I believe so. I'm going to wait and see if they send out ADN letters before the 19th. I'm kinda nervous too bc I ultimately want to do ADN. LVN was my back up plan [emoji16]

Hmm so how do we get a confirmation for this information?
Anyone here knows? If you accept the LVN do you still get considered for the ADN.... someone help.... lol
