Hey everyone I was starting a thread for all the fall 16 hopefuls for all the campus's at lonestar!
I take my hesi feb 18 and nervous doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!!!! Lol, I think I'll be okay on the math portion, it's the grammar and a&p that are causing my sleepless nights!!! Predicates, me or I, prepositional adjectives? Whaaat?? Lol and then a&p because there's soooo much and you have noooo clue what to focus on. I'm a bundle of nerves to say the very least lol
How about yall?!
My first choice is going to be kingwood, then maybe cyfair or north harris, I haven't decided yet, I want to get this test out of the way first!!
And can ya'll believe hcc closed their program down this year..... I was upset about that that was my first pick!
Called the director and she said that they r still waiting for the list to arrive!!!!! According to her may be it will happen this week but definitely next week. I just thought I share what I found out so far. I am trying to keep calm, but this is like the first time it took them that long!!!!!
I'm all caught up on the thread! I applied back in February for the ADN programming starting this Fall. Applied for Cy Fair as my first choice then Tomball as my back up. I first took the HESI back in September and received a score of 88%. Unfortunately, I failed the A&P portion by 4 points so had to retake. The second go round I got a 94.9%. I wound up submitting my application with a score of 7.8! I emailed the the Program Coordinator, Kim Anderson, after calling over and over with no answer and she replied with this.
Hello Christina,
You will be notified sometime this month. Please continue to check your mylonestar student email account.

Not too many details but we are all waiting together! I'm anxious every minute of the day waiting to get an official email saying we got it! Staying patient over here. I can't wait to meet some of you all.
I picked Montgomery too. I did it because that's where I got all my prerequisite classes out of the way and I know the campus well. I also heard that they had a high success rate in the past. Overall, it's a nice campus and easy for me to get to. My mom also did the nursing program. She's graduating this May from the North Harris ADN program and she said her instructors and equipment were great. I haven't heard anything negative about any of the campuses, though.
I am willing to go wherever. I drove from Spring to galleria daily for my last degree.
I put them in order of how far/hard to get to they were. Im closest to Montgomery but don't think my grades are good enough for there so crossing fingers for NH or Tomball. Cyfair would be VeRy far for me.
