I wanted to start this page for anyone who is applying for the Spring 2018 Lone Star ADN or LVN program! I've seen previous posts, from previous years, and everyone was really helpful and encouraging to one another.
I am taking A&P 1 over the summer (starts 7/13) and then I will be submitting my application!! Im so nervous. I already took the HESI and got a score on 90.8%, which gives me and 3.6 on the point scale. I have an A in Eng 1301 and hope to get an A in A&P this summer.
In the fall I am taking A&P2 along with Micro (ugh). So if anyone else is in the same boat, let me know!!!
I applied for LSC Cy-fair since it's closer to me. My whole score is a 7.568/8. A's on English 1301 and A&P I & II. HESI score is a 3.568/4. I had to do the HESI twice because the first time I got a 72 on vocabulary section. I was so mad! Lol I did better on vocabulary the second time around but a few of the others I scored a bit lower but mostly all A's except the reading comprehension & grammar.
I hope my overall score is good and gets me in! Cy-fair was the only place I applied to so fingers crossed! Good luck to you all!!
On your application for the ADN programs was there a section to input info about past schools you attended? There wasn't on mine, however I did notice that there was a section to input past school history when I tried to apply for the LVN program. Did this happen to anyone else?
I already submitted my application and I really hope this doesn't hurt my chances of getting in
I have three children and I worked and went to school full-time as well. I no longer work because I decided to devote all my time to becoming a nurse. It's been a challenge mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially but it'll all be worth it once I become a nurse!
My story exactly! 3 boys, work full time, school part time. But I'm ready to start the program honestly. I will be leaving my job December once I'm accepted for Spring!!! Have to speak things into existence.

Thats a great score! I am only applying to CyFair also. If I get an A in A&P 1 (in it right now) then my overall score would be 7.6!
I have a question I'm taking RNSG1301 this fall semester online. The class is online but the professor is at tomball. Can I take the test at cyfair campus?
Have to speak things into existence.
