Hey there!
I wanted to start this page for anyone who is applying for the Spring 2018 Lone Star ADN or LVN program! I've seen previous posts, from previous years, and everyone was really helpful and encouraging to one another.
I am taking A&P 1 over the summer (starts 7/13) and then I will be submitting my application!! Im so nervous. I already took the HESI and got a score on 90.8%, which gives me and 3.6 on the point scale. I have an A in Eng 1301 and hope to get an A in A&P this summer.
In the fall I am taking A&P2 along with Micro (ugh). So if anyone else is in the same boat, let me know!!!
Anyway, I look forward to hearing from everyone
omg so have i! lol I was checking all weekend, hopefully he will give us the grades today! There was one i was stuck on for some reason, it was the one with the rib cages. What did you put for that one? I think i was just thinking too hard. I asked another classmate did you put lungs? I put thoracic, which i dont think is right. There was another one, it was a picture of the plasma membrane. It was pointing to two things, was oone of them cholesterol? I wish i studied that picture more

Oh yeah, that was a dumb one. There should have been a question with it. I put right lung. Who knows what they were wanting. On the cell one, yes I put cholesterol...the other was protein I think. Ugh.
yes I agree, I seen another student asking about the ribcage one also. They should of just used the torso model to do that one! But those are the only 2 I was stumped on I think. How you do on the rat? It was kind of hard for me to tell what the pin was actually on but that's just for bonus points right?
hey! did you get your grade for the lab exam? girl i missed 12! ugh i thought i did better then that. Starting to get discouraged. The teacher said our grade is out of 1000 points, do you know the range for an A?
Hey!! Don't get discouraged, this is a hard class, and it is really fast over the summer. We can totally study together if you want! I didn't get a lab quiz score yet, but my lab practical was 61/62.
Since on the syllabus it says 89.5%-100% is an A, 895/1000 would be equivalent.
Hi Everyone,
This is my first time posting here
Please can someone help me with these questions.
When I logged into the nursing website, I don't see the application. I only see these headings: FAQ, Requirement, Upload documents, and Print. Please can someone advice me on what to do.
Secondly, do I need to see an advisor before I can obtain the advising transcript because this my first time applying to Lone Star College. Thank you!

You do not have to see an advisor to obtain your advising transcript; just download it from your myLonestar account by requesting an unofficial transcript. Also, you can find the apply button on the "Additonal Requirements" page where the deadlines are listed.
Thank you.
My situation is, I completed my AA degree from HCC so it doesn't matter if I follow the process you just described to get the advising transcript? I have applied to Lone Star already but when you guys talk about having first choice and second choice of campus, it makes me wonder if there is a different nursing application or when I was applying to Lone Star college I didn't noticed those choices. Please give me more clarification on that.

Your application to Lone Star college is completely separate from your nursing program application. When you submit your application for the nursing program, you have to submit an application for each school. Tomball, Kingwood, and Cy-fair are the three schools that you can apply to in the Spring. You can apply to all three or just one, it's up to you. If you apply to all three, prioritize your applications in the order that you would rather get accepted to.

Hey! Sorry I just saw this. I feel pretty good about it. Some of the questions were kind of vague so I hope I was answering correctly. I have been obsessively checking my D2L for a grade, but nothing yet. Do you remember which ones you were stuck on?
