Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough.
Hello everyone!
First off, you will NOT have to retake any courses if you've already completed them.
About the cost of the program. You do not pay in full, but per semester. The first semester is the most expensive because you buy all of your textbooks upfront, as well as your lab materials. The first semester for me was roughly $1200-$1300. Further semesters will be around $800-$1000.
Background checks take a while. Once you submit it, you will have to wait for your blue card to come in the mail from the Texas Board of Nursing. I didn't get my card until later Oct, mid November timeframe.
You will find out more information at your orientation before the program starts.
I havent recieved anything about the background check or fingerprints but looking at the classes it looks like my first semester will be the hardest ive already taken alot of the classes already
Why would it be the hardest if you have taken most of the classes already?
*** don't bother answering. I figured out the answer lol: roflmao:

I've done the A&P 1, A&P 2, and the Microbiology. Will they make me take that again during the program?
