Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough.
On the Castle Branch website what is your due date? I think mine is incorrect, the website indicates that I am in the correct cohort but the due date in not what was in our letter.
It shows that my CPR is overdue, showing a due date of 08/01/16 which makes no sense bc i was not accepted into the program by then but my other items show a due date of 12/05/16. What does yours show?

I have a due date of 08/08/2016. I am going to email the nursing office on Tuesday and ask for clarification on this or I just might add this to my questions for orientation.
Does anyone know if we need to know anything for the boot camp?
I'm not sure, but one thing i want to know is how much the program costs... With the boot camp being in December, does that give us enough time to apply for financial aid and/or a loan? Is it better to apply for financial aid now? Will financial aid even apply in this case? So many unanswered questions. It would be nice if the current students could help with this.
I emailed the Kingwood Nursing Office to see if financial aid would be discussed at the orientation and I was told no. I did contact a counselor and I have to file an appeal for financial aid assistance but I can not do that until I have a full acceptance letter from the nursing department, so I will have to wait until 12/5/2016.

OK. Thank you for the information.

Check out requestatest.com you will pay for the titers test and then go to a lab, I think you can select a lab when you pay, I really can't remember, mine was done at a Lab Corp office. I did not use my insurance just paid out of pocket.
