Loma Linda Nursing Fall 2018

Published

Hello everyone, I am applying to LLU BSN program to start in Fall of 2018. I just wanted to start a forum and see how everyone is doing, and help each other with updates.

I actually got a call from Dora to have my interview. Does every qualifying applicant get an interview or only the potential candidates to be admitted get an interview?

Thank you

2 of my friends directly called dora and got an answer.

I got waitlisted for fall, but with Admission to winter . Yay. I'm Just happy to have gotten in. Congrat's to everyone who got in for fall. please Post your process of registration and packages received so that I may have a heads-up for my winter Process. Thank you everyone for your constant input.

Yay! Congrats! So far, I have started the process somewhat. From when you receive your acceptance, you have 21 days to accept and I had to pay a $200 deposit to hold my spot. There's a whole checklist that you have to do before you can register, such as vaccines, get financial clearance, and get cpr and first aid. I've started, but waiting until I'm done with this semester of school when I have free time to complete everything. Hope that helps a little. I'll let you know more as I'm further into the process.

Oh okay, so you accept online?.... Wow good to know about the $200, so I can save up for it. I'll probably get my CPR/First Aid later in December, so it's current for most of the 2.5 years of nursing school. I also got a checklist, but doesn't include the money, or the vaccines, only a background check. Thank you for the information JulietB, very helpful. :-)

Yes, when you're accepted, you'll receive an email with your acceptance that includes a link, and that link will take you to the page where you either accept or deny the acceptance. You'll also have to pay the $200 at that time. I also did the background check already and it cost about $42.

Good luck to you all! I was accepted into both Loma Linda and Valley and I unfortunately declined the offer from Loma Linda and decided to go with valley to save myself the money. So another spot will be opening up!

Hey everyone! I am interested in applying to Loma Linda for the Winter of 2019 and was hoping you guys could give me some advice regarding the application processes, scores, and basically anything else you guys would like to add would be helpful. @SarahHolly, would you mind if I ask what your GPA and scores were like? This would be really helpful in that I can get an idea of what they will somewhat be looking for score wise considering you have already gained acceptance for the Winter. Thank you all so much in advance! I hope you can help me and others applying for winter out.

congrats taytay! Either way at the end you will still be an RN! congrats again!

Those who got accepted in Fall, Have you received information in regards to what books you need for your first quarter? So far someone told me that the book they had to use was Math for Meds by Anna Curren. I plan to get it to review it. Anyone else have a list of books for first quarter?

@grace10 pm you :-)

i got moved into the Fall term. Yay. I'll see you guys in the fall.

Congrats Sarah Holly! I haven't received any info regarding books yet.
