Loma Linda department 6100

Published

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has information on what dept 6100 is at Loma Linda Medical Center, CA. I spoke with the nurse recruiter who said my application had been forwarded to the DM. How long is the call back wait? Do new grads have a chance? I would love to work at Loma Linda. I've had family members there for open hearts and GI surgery's the staff all seemed to be really happy with their jobs. Any advice to help with "the pursit of happiness"

May I suggest posting in the california forum? You will get a much greater response there. There is actually a post there right now about Loma Linda.

They only hire graduate nurses a couple times a year, and have recently cut most of their positions for new graduates. I believe most often they hire internal candidates who graduated from their nursing school since they often know the facility well and require less training.

I'm assuming your local, try St. Bernardine's Medical Center, they are hiring new grads, and one of the few hospitals in the area right now that is. PM me if you want more information about St B's.

Redlands Community Hospital hires new grads at certain times of the year. Arrowhead Regional Medical Center does for ER. I think for the most part the other hospitals are about done hiring while the economy is in recession.
