Loma Linda CRNA 2023

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Thought I'd start a thread for Loma Linda's CRNA DNP program that opens tomorrow, June 1st, 2022 for 2023 admission. Anyone know what to expect for the personal statement? The last program I applied to had very specific questions to answer. I'm not seeing anything on the webpage, but maybe it will give us more info once the app officially opens tomorrow?

Specializes in MICU.

I haven’t heard anything either and I interviewed last week.

Congrats btw!

Specializes in CTICU.

I also have not heard anything and interviewed last week.

Specializes in Float Pool ICU.

I interviewed 10/11/22, thought it went TERRIBLY.

Was called and offered acceptance on 10/20/22!

Received email notification with official letter 10/24/22.

However, I have been accepted to another program and will be attending that program instead. So another seat will be open for those who haven't heard back yet. Good luck everyone! ?

How did you guys prepare for the interviews

Hi All!

I am currently preparing for my CRNA interview with LLU next month and I was hoping that those of you that interviewed last year could give some insight on how the interviews were and help to guide what I should be preparing. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone else done their interview? It was definitely nerve-wrecking

Hi.  I am applying to Loma Linda CRNA school this year and have an interview coming up next month and was wondering if you can provide any info on what to expect.

Hey,

I would be prepared for mostly clinical scenarios and questions. So it would be good to brush up on common ICU meds (levophed, neo, vaso, etc.), devices (CRRT, IABP, etc), and how to read EKG and ABGs. Things like that.
