Loewenberg CON Fall 17 Traditional Program

Hi, thought I would make a discussion for those of us applying for the fall of 2017 to the traditional program at the University of Memphis. I've seen several for the accelerated, but with the deadline only a week away, I figured it might be nice to meet future classmates.

Hello everyone, I applied last semester and didn't get in. My gpa was 3.09 (cumulative) and 3.67 (science). Super bummer, but I'm applying again and this time around my cumulative gpa is now 3.46. Good luck to everyone!

Hi, how long did it take you to get a response? And what was the cutoff last semester, if you don't mind sharing?

When you applied the first time, did you complete the majority of the pre-requisites?

I had like 3 classes that I was taking which were Humanities and Social Science so it wasn't required. Deadline was October 13 and found out November 1.

Hi I also applied for fall 17. Have anyone heard anything yet. I'm so nervous I wonder what the cut off gpa is?

I haven't heard anything. This week is their spring break week, so we will know within the approaching week or the week after that.

The faculity met Tuesday to finalize it. You will probably here this week. They are admitting smaller classes now. Just not enough room. I don't know exact numbers but the spring class looked 20 seats smaller than usually.

Wow really??? how many were in the class before because I thought I read they accept at least 150 a semester?
