Local places to buy scrubs?

I'm wondering if anyone has good recommendations for stores to buy scrubs, shoes, stethoscopes, etc...

I know there are many on the internet, but I would rather purchase locally if I can. That way I can try them on & such.

I am about an hour north of Indy & there is one place in Kokomo I can go, but it's pretty small. I wouldn't mind a couple others for comparison shopping:)

Ideas?

There is a store in Wabash called Shoe City, and they have scrubs, shoes...etc. That is about the only other place I know of, around here. Hope that helped!

I "heard" (not for sure yet) that there was an outlet store in Edinburgh that sells stethescopes and such. I haven't actually checked it out for myself yet. I'm hoping to make it there this weekend. If I do, I'll let ya'll know if it's any good, and what I think about their prices.

I saw some at our local Walmart, nothing fancy. They were near the lingerie/purses department.

Ooh, I hope Edinburgh has a place. We are going shopping there in a couple of weeks.

As far as Wal-mart, I have seen printed ones there as well as at Meijer, but our school requires all white, so I can't use those. Better prices than the uniform shops!

How about in Indy? Near or in any of the Malls?

Personally I wouldnt buy all white anyplace other than Walmart as often as I have to replace them due to stains and stuff. Activated charcoal doesnt come out.

I know the last couple Walmarts I when to had them. Meijers i'm not so sure about its been over a year.

on the northeast side of indy:

there's a store called Scrubs & Beyond. it's in the castleton area, 82nd and Allisonville in a strip mall next to the Avenue and Michaels. you can also try the store inside the castleton mall (park in the lot next to jc penney's and there's an enterance right near the scrub shop). i think it's still called Life Uniforms. as i recall, they have lots of white scrubs, pants, etc. and a decent selection of good nursing shoes in white.

you can get stethoscopes at both places as well as check out their shoe selection.

on the northwest side, there's a small store called Ruthie's uniforms. they are located at one block west of 86th and Ditch road, in the strip mall along the side of Marsh supermarket...
