Just wanted to check who else was applying to LLU for winter 2012 start. Not sure how competitive this application period is, but i heard they only accept 54 students. Does anyone have pending preq's as well?
@ Perris_StudentRN the financial aid office contacted me. I had to add loma linda university to my FAFSA and once they received my information they gave me login information for "student services login" thats where you can check information regarding tuition cost, how much the school is offering you, etc. If they haven't contacted you yet give the financial aid office a call they're really nice.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has received word from Loma Linda as to whether or not they were accepted. At the beginning of this week I received a call from ---- (Admissions Director) she gave me the good news that i was accepted into the program for this winter coming up and that I would be receiving an official letter this week, but I have yet to receive anything. I was wondering if anyone might have received their letter yet.
@lisawisa247 well it depends...did you submit your application before or on the priority deadline? Because if you didn't then maybe you didn't get in =( but if you did apply for priority then I guess you'll have to be patient. @DavidF6688 found out on monday, I just found out today so they seem to be telling people randomly. Best wishes =)
@Kenster09 I actually got the email the day that I posted the first comment, I've already completed most of the requirements for registration. All I have left is sending a copy of my immunization records and signing the promissory note for my financial aid. Will you be housing on campus, or commuting? @lisawisa247 I wouldn't worry I actually was on the wait list for the fall and didn't get pulled off, so my application was put in for the winter. I had been emailing heather like crazy and she said typically most who apply for the winter get in since not very many apply. But good luck and hope to see you there the first day!
I didn't get in for winter quarter, but I wanted to know what would be the best course of action. Should I try for spring quarter? Is that a little easier to get in than winter and/or fall? I know after this semester, my gpa will increase to 3.5... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I received emails from loma Linda prompting me to start my financial aid stuff a few months back, but if you never received the emails you can log onto the LLU website and view what you need to turn in. Also you can go to their office and get all the financial stuff worked out too, they are very helpful there and informative. The office is across the street from the main hospital entrance. Also I never heard of the loan repayment program, that is very cool! I hope your friend gets it!!!
