LIttman Brass/Black stethoscope Stand out?

I was looking at stethoscopes today, and I noticed a brass and black one. Anybody have one of these? I think this would be easier to recognize than just different colored tubing and engravings, so maybe it won't "walk off". What do you think? It's kind of ugly, but I don't really care.:redbeathe

Thank you wishn! That's what I was hoping to read. I think it's so classy and pretty, but had to make sure before I bit the bullet. Thanks!

I got the Littman Master Classic II in the special edition Black. I am a new student and don't begin classes until Aug. but I wanted to get used to a stethoscope I would continue to use for awhile instead of buying a cheap one. I think it looks very nice. I got mine from Allheart.com - I did not get it engraved. I plan on just buying a tag and using that. As previous posters have said - nothing will prevent it from "walking". Just have to get used to keeping it around your neck or in your pocket.

I have the Littman Master Cardio in all black - and I start NS next month. I think it will stand out a bit - and that was part of the reason for choosing it. I've also seen where you can put one of those retractable ID button lanyards on it, so it's harder to just walk away if you sent it down (it is basically tethered to you!).

I ordered it from allheart...and the engraving was on the tubing/chestpiece. It didn't really stand out (looked like it could be rubbed off!) and they misspelled my name, so I returned it and had them resend without personalization. Honestly, I'm not sure where there is a good place to engrave on it. Still thinking.
