I just took the nclex and I'm pretty sure I failed! The reason why I feel this way is because I got the same math problem thee times on the test and it also was my last question when it cut off at 75 (not the exact same question but with the principles of the ones before) along with that I got only had probably 7 select all that apply and I've been told that in order for it to shut off 75 you should have had several.........Uhh anyone have any advice on what to study other than kaplan? Ya boy is feelin bad:crying2:

Well, I only had a few SATA's, probably 5 or 6. It shut off at 75 and I passed. So don't let that worry you. Cannot really comment on the math problems though.

I only had a few SATA, maybe 4 or 5, also had two repeat math calculations and my last two questions were on the same subject with almost identical answers...the test shut off at 75 and I passed! It's not over till it's over...good luck!

Well Champ did you try to pearsonvue trick yet? Go and try it and see if it works, it's kind of like a little cheat to see if you passed the NCLEX or not. Just do a search for it if you don't know what I mean and you can find out how to do it.

I take mine on Monday.. and you're making me nervous! What type of math question did you get btw? I haven't been studying math calculations very much so this is kind of worrisome for me!

After taking NCLEX u can leave feeling VERY unsure about ur performance because the format is so different. But as the other posters said, the amt of SATA u got doesn't really mean a thing. My friend got 12, I got 3 and we passed with 75Qs.

i think almost everybody felt that they fail the exam after taking it. you arent alone on that situation. just hang in there. stay positive.

I only had 5 sata's and I had 2 pharm questions that were almost identical!!!!

You passed!!!! I know it!!!!!

I just signed up with pearson vue yesterday and reading the fine print before the final registration page said something about how the test gives you questions that are really tough in trying to assess your knowledge it said something about how it adjusts the questions to find that point where you can't answer anymore. Basically something about missing 50% of questions is normal because it wants to determine that point and it has to know with 95% accuracy that point where you don't know anymore.

Sorry, that's not making much sense. I hope it helps some.

If you research the threads..there are people that have passed the NCLEX that have had NO select all that apply questions.
