Very happy:D, I just got accepted into the March 9th LPN course at lincoln tech. Just wondering if any other users are attending that course?:typing or any grads that have any advice. It would be appreciated!:wink2:
well I start LT in shelton sept 13 2010. I'm doing the night classes. Now I'm scared with all this self teaching talk. It's about 33k to go to school so I have to pay three hundred a month out of pocket because student loans didn't cover all of it. There are some clinics that are during the day but I don't know what time..there are 8 clinical days alltogeather after your first year in school. Lets see what else..they have extra help if you need it that is an hour before class starts( 4pm to 5pm) they sound like they really want you to make it in this school but idk I didn't start yet. The entrance exam was not bad at all it had basic math, reading comp.but I took the last of that test because they changed them two days after I took and passed mine. To practice for that test I went to testprepreview.com and clicked on TEAS this helped me to pass.oh yeah we were able to use calculators.my test was free but the new ones are 30 bucks each time you take it.. I hope this info helps any other questions I will do my best to answe :)

Our "wonderful"
Governor Jodi Rell decided that it wasn't cost effective to keep the schools open and in trying to balance the budge, cut all the State funded LPN schools. As far as I've heard, its indefinate.
