Very happy:D, I just got accepted into the March 9th LPN course at lincoln tech. Just wondering if any other users are attending that course?:typing or any grads that have any advice. It would be appreciated!:wink2:
I am a Lincoln Tech graduate. I would like to congratulate you on taking the chance to further your education. However, for the most part, and not to be negative, but coming from a previous graduate, my time at LTI was the worse ever. My class started off with around 58 students and graduated with 15. I'm sure we all passed the NCLEX, they have such a high passing rate because they are so incredibly strict. I had friends fail out by a tenth of a point. You always feel like you have an axe swinging over your head. The price is crazy expensive, but since I heard all the state ran LPN programs are currently on hold. It's probably one of the few options. I wish you the best of luck!
I just graduted from lincoln technical institute, hamden n got my license and now looking for a job.As far as school goes its very strict but doable..very strict on attendance for class as well as clinical.Teachers are really nice .you have give urself a lot of time to study. You have exam almost every week .so cant have social life.but you know u can really do it.Just focus .
Connecticut residents don't have any other choice BUT private schools now. All the CT run LPN schools are shut down. So, now if anyone is considering LPN, you only have a few schools to choose from and all have about the same price tag.
Does anyone know the story with this? Why was the public program shut down and for how long? It seems to me that CT is going to have some serious LPN shortage issues if they don't fix this, soon!

Just wondering if anyone here is currently attending, esp anyone that is starting Mod III in December? I might be switching campuses and joining you guys but I'm still weighing my options right now...the NB program is nothing but drama. Is the Hamden campus any better?
