I dislike reenactments for some reason. I prefer watching "realtime" events. Just me I know. There are a couple of amazing ER threads here that tell stories you would scarecely believe. I love reading those.
I agree, I love Trauma, life in the ER...but that untold stories show...I think its corny bad acting...and lessens the impact of the actual story being told...
I agree...the re-enactments are awfully corny. The stories are pretty good though! I would rather watch Trauma: Life in the ER. There is also a show called Life or Death on MSNBC every so often which follows nurses around in different areas. It's a great look at how nurses perform every day under stress.
i love diagnosis unknown (though it slways seems to end in a poisoning attempt) ane medical incredible. I also saw a show called nurses and i saw 2 episodes recently and i LOVED THAT SHOW. As a student it was educational and i wish they would air more of it. I like trauma lifei in the er and untold stories but don't watch them with any regularity.
The one from 2day, I just seen a body builder drop his pants and there it was a HUGE BOIL on his butt, I want to be a nurse dearly..but, i didn't know what this show was about never seen it and it made my stomach turn...so, I turned the station and then turn it back like "ER" great..NEXT THING a bum off the street with maggots eatting his whole leg!!!! I'm sorry, but I just got done eatting 4th of JULY BBQ, I was not expecting this and like ever1 else said the acting was terrible and it made my stomach turn bad, I rather watch House.

I can't remember if it was Trauma - Life in the ER or Untold Stories of Life in the ER but did anyone watch this last night. There was a segment where one of the doctors was removing a bug (cockroach I think) from a pt's ear. He apparantly had a bug-phobia and freaked out, stripped off all of his cloths down to his boxers just to see that everyone was laughing at him.
It was hilarious. :rotfl:
Love that show. :)
